- Researched and conducted due diligence in the economic viability of over 100 Gulf Opportunity Zone (G.O. Zone) bond applications for LED which led to the proposed allocation of over $5.7 billion of bond issues for business investment in Louisiana
- Drafted recommendation letters that included justifying the financial feasibility of proposed Gulf Opportunity Zone Bond projects for LED to the Louisiana State Bond Commission
- Supervised and tracked legislative progress for bills potentially impacting LED business development incentive programs during the Legislative Session of 2007, which resulted in reinforcing the job-creating mechanisms of those programs
- Assisted in the formulation of job creating legislation such as the $150 million mega project legislation of 2007 by researching competing states’ legislation and recommending legislative proposals
- Drafted and pursued promulgation of administrative rules for principal tax incentive programs of LED including Motion Picture and Sound Recording Tax Credit, Louisiana Quality Jobs Program, Enterprise Zone, and Community Development Corporation Program Certification
- Analyzed Federal trade embargo legislation relative to Cuba to identify specific Louisiana goods and materials that could be exported without violating federal law, resulting in optimized profits for Louisiana manufacturers and farmers
- Researched Louisiana civil and criminal case filings from all courts systems within Louisiana judicial system in order to justify legislation decreasing the number of judgeships
- Advised Supreme Court Deputy Secretary of Judicial Administration on language and construction of legislation decreasing the number of judgeships which was to be pursued in the next legislative session
- Administered and provided research to Louisiana Senate sub-committee regarding need and justification for legislation decreasing the number of judgeships
- Defined and constructed a case filings system and uniform definitional guide for Louisiana Clerks of Courts, which was adopted by Clerks of Court Association of Louisiana
- Administered Department of Justice recovery grant between lower courts of Louisiana and the Supreme Court for the purposes of distributing needed data equipment after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita
- Organized and advised LSU Department of Foreign Languages concerning examinations, curricula, and text books beginning in August 2003 until departure from department
- Instructed elementary Spanish in the Department of Foreign Languages summer program
- Aided in the organization of the Conference on Hispanic Language and Literature at LSU
- Led and assisted in LSU study abroad program in Granada, Spain by taking students to multi-cultural events in order to foster their knowledge of Spanish language
